The trouble is, it’s really hard to break through that barrier. So that’s where the Act Locally comes in. Setting goals and making a plan of step by step actions to reach that goal is what I’m working on. I need to prove myself wrong. Meanwhile I’ll be working with affirmations, meditation, and even exercise to raise my energy vibration to a level where that kind of thought is impossible. Again acting locally with my inner ecology to change it for the better both mentally and physically.

Our society loves to proclaim people as “overnight successes” but if you sat down and talked to that person, you’d learn of the years of work and preparation that went into that success. As a Gemini, I love change, so it fits my nature to change my mind to change my life. And I’m doing it, with the addition of my Morning Coffee Meditation which begins now…

Naturally I turned to Louise L. Hay, one of the great teachers in regards to affirmations and turning your life around. Her own story of transformation and self healing is a dramatic one. This is from her website:

Her own personal philosophy was forged from her tormented upbringing. Her childhood was unstable and impoverished, and her teen years were marked by abuse. She went on to studying and counseling others, and later was diagnosed with cancer and used everything she learned about self-care and self-healing and the mind body connection to become a cancer survivor. Now she owns and operates Hay House publishing.

If she can do it, I can do it! Seriously, the Universe provides abundantly to all those who call upon it, and I’m making the daily call with arms wide open to say:

Affirmation of Letting Go

I release all my doubts and my fears

There is no past

There is no future

There is only here and now

I am filled with joy here and now

I am living my life’s purpose here and now

I am calm and contented

I am thankful for everything

I am Here…Now.

So now, I will repeat as needed until it sinks in and I am able to live in the here and now.

What happens when someone worries?

Basically, they think of 100 reasons why something might go wrong. And all of those thoughts then struggle to become things, sometimes overriding their more constructive thoughts.

It’s like a train wreck. Ain’t pretty. But that’s the power of worry.

Now, let’s say you want something fantastic to manifest in your life, Beth. Hypothetically, let’s say you want a Cute economic small car. (I know you.)

Have you sat down yet and listed 100 reasons why it might come to you easily, fast, and harmoniously?

1. I pay off my credit cards early and have extra cash to save, so I can buy my my Cute Little Car
2. I get a great offer of an inexpensive car from a friend for my my Cute Little Car
3. I win my Cute Little Car in a raffle
4. I sell a large original painting, covering the cost of my Cute Little Car
5. I sell several  small original paintings, covering the cost of my Cute Little Car
6. A fan buys me my Cute Little Car
7. Sales sky-rocket at the Reiki Artist Store and I can easily afford my Cute Little Car
8. Sales sky-rocket at Wyrdhaven Workshop and I can easily afford my Cute Little Car
9. I’m booked for Reiki Sessions months in advance and I can easily afford my Cute Little Car
10. Reiki Workshops are booked solid for the rest of the year with full classes and I can easily afford my Cute Little Car
11. A relative gifts me with a Cute Little Car
12. I suddenly get a huge tax return that I didn’t expect and I go out and buy myself a Cute Little Car

This is a book I own and must recommend to anyone interested in learning more about magick, meditation, and psychic development. When I do meditation, I often spend some time doing one or more affirmations. First I write the new affirmation on a 3×5 card, then I speak them out loud three or more times. After a while, I’ve memorized the affirmation and can call upon them at any time I may have a need. I save the card for use in future meditations.
