Beth’s intuitive history in her own words:
It all began when I was a little girl, twin to another little girl, and my mother decided to test us for ESP. We played with the cards, and we learned deep relaxation techniques. One of us would be downstairs with mom, relaxed on the couch while the other would be upstairs with my brother making all kinds of noise in all the different rooms. Finally it would be quiet, while the upstairs twin would send a message to the downstairs twin as to what room they were in. She was the stronger sender, and I the stronger receiver. I felt like a failure because I couldn’t send my thoughts.
So I grew up knowing I had ESP, and that I was a receiver. We’d play games of concentration where I would more often use my hand to scan the back of the cards to find my matches than my memory of where I saw it last. I also grew up drawing, and took up painting very seriously in my adult life. I found later on that I would create a painting, with my own ideas about what it was and then someone would come along and tell me what I had actually done. I painted two goddesses this way without knowing. One actually told me her name in the beginning stage of the painting, Tara, and I had no clue. She was a green faery with long waving black hair. It was my friend Jon who told me “You painted Green Tara as a faery!” and sure enough I had.
So I am a receiver, I have the psychic gifts of Clairaudience (hearing), Clairvoyance (seeing), and Claircognizance (knowing). I see with my inner eye, and I can ask for messages from the faeries who are my guides and constant companions. What the faeries are is a Mystery. They are nature spirits, place spirits, guardians and guides. When I do a Faery reading I use the wonderful cards by Brian Froud, The Faeries’ Oracle or the Heart of Faery Oracle. This helps me access my clairvoyance more quickly than spending hours at the easel. Sometimes I will see glimpses and messages as well, sometimes I will ask my faery friends a question and they will answer. Most often the words just tumble out of my mouth that my client needs to hear. Every reading is different, as every person is different.
My reading technique was once described by a fellow psychic and palm reader Jean-Robert Lemarchand:
“Don’t be fooled. She’s got a small faerie trapped in a small jar. She blows in a little ‘incense’ smoke into the jar and then she interprets the babbling. Very unique…a little sad for the Faerie…but very unique.”
Very funny, but I would never treat a faerie that way, because that’s no way to treat a friend.

Beth’s Reader Code of Ethics
- I will serve the best interests of my clients, conducting my professional activities without causing or intending to cause harm.
- I will treat all my clients with equal respect, regardless of their origin, race, religion, gender, age, or sexual preference.
- I will represent honestly my Tarot and Faery Oracle qualifications, including educational credentials and levels of certification.
- Before commencing, I will advise my client of what Tarot or The Faery Oracle can and cannot do for them.
- I will keep confidential the names of clients and all information shared or discussed during readings, unless otherwise requested by the client or required by a court of law.
- Before each reading, I will ground myself, and I will make sure the reading area is cleared and consecrated to be a safe and sacred site.
- I will recommend clients consult a licensed professional for advice of a legal, financial, medical, or psychological nature that I am not qualified to provide.
- I will not make fortune-telling style predictions. Neither the Tarot or Faery Oracle cards predict the future; they can only show the energies around a given situation. I will advise my clients that if they wish to change anything indicated in their reading, they always have free will to do so, and that they alone, not fate or destiny or the faeries, are the architects of their futures.
- I will not make predictions regarding when in time something will occur. Time is relative, not absolute. The cards can show what events in what order will occur before the event in question (Blank will happen after such and such occurs).
- I will always honestly share what ever the cards and my intuitive impressions show me during the reading. I do not tailor my comments according to a client’s body language or responses to perform what are popularly termed “cold readings.”
- My fee will be stated up front, with no additional or hidden fees. I will not “up-sell” my client to a longer reading. If my client wishes to increase the length of their reading, they may do so at the same fee, time permitting.
- I will not encourage the client to become dependent on me. To that end, I will not perform full readings on the same question more often than once a month.
- I will not read for anyone under age 18 unless accompanied by an adult.
- I will respect my clients’ right to refuse or terminate their reading at any time, regardless of prior consent. I also reserve the right to refuse or terminate a reading at any time.
