Reiki Sessions
Reiki is a simple and powerful method of holistic healing. The
treatments and their frequency are individually tailored to the
client's needs and condition. This is the perfect way to care
lovingly for yourself.
A Reiki treatment session lasts for about one-hour and is useful
for specific healing or general relaxation. The client remains
fully clothed at all times as the practitioner gently lays her
hands on the head, torso, legs, and feet of the client, allowing
Reiki energy to flow through her palms. Standard hand positions
are discussed with the client prior to treatment, as well as music,
incense and lighting preferences. The client's comfort is a key
component to the healing process, and pillows and blankets are
within reach to see to that comfort.
The Reiki treatment is not intrusive and clients do not remove
clothing, also no private parts of the body are ever touched.
If a client is wishing to work on a specific issue or health problem
it is recommended to book for three one-hour treatments. If this
is your first time experiencing Reiki, try it out with a single
session.

What to Expect from a Reiki Session
Reiki Sessions are by appointment, I work out of my home in Minneapolis.
When you call to set a day and time for your session, I will give
you my address at that time.
When you come for the first time I will have a questionaire for
you to fill out, you will also be given time to ask any questions
about the session before we begin. This way we can both make sure
that your needs are being met. Your physical and energy bodies
comprise a whole system. What affects one area affects the entire
system. For this reason I always begin with a full-body session
and then address any specific area of concern.
During the session, you will lay on the massage table and I remain
quiet while I act as a channel for the Reiki energy to flow through.
If you need to talk with me while we progress, that's fine too,
the Reiki will continue to flow. Your body will continue to draw
the Reiki it needs from my hands. To create a relaxing environmnet,
I usually have soft music playing, with incense and candles burning
as well. But that's your choice.
I do not direct the energy in any way other than the intention
that it flow freely to benefit your health in mind, body, and
spirit. Reiki always works toward your highest good. You will
be asked to lay on your stomach to finish the session.
When we are done I will gently move my hands about 4-6 inches
above your body to allow the Reiki to flow to any areas that it
needs to. After the session I will offer you a glass of water,
as staying hydrated is an important part of healing.

Pranic Healing
Pranic Healing is a touch-free energy healing modality with emphasis on
the sweeping or cleansing of the energy body. Specific techniques
are used for specific problems, and I may refer to my book or
other training materials for reference during your session.
During your session you may either stand or sit, and I will
work with your energy body without touching you. This modality is perfect
for those who feel the need for a complete energy tune-up.
