Reiki Sessions

The Usui System of Naturaly healing, or Reiki as it is more commonly called, is a simple and powerful method of holistic healing. The sessionss and their frequency are individually tailored to your needs and condition. This is the perfect way to care lovingly for yourself.

A Reiki session lasts for about one-hour and is useful for specific healing or general relaxation. The client remains fully clothed at all times as the practitioner gently lays her hands on the head, torso, legs, and feet of the client, allowing Reiki energy to flow through her palms.

Standard hand positions are discussed with the client prior to treatment, as well as music, incense and lighting preferences. The client's comfort is a key component to the healing process, and pillows and blankets are within reach to see to that comfort.

The Reiki treatment is not intrusive and clients do not remove clothing, also no private parts of the body are ever touched. If a client is wishing to work on a specific issue or health problem it is recommended to book for three one-hour treatments. If this is your first time experiencing Reiki, try it out with a single session.

The picture to the right is of my cat Caruso, soaking up some Reiki from the table in the morning. Sometimes the cats like to help during the session, but it is your choice if you want hands or hands and paws during your session.

Please note: Reiki does not replace the care provided by health care professionals. You are strongly encouraged to continue seeing your health care providers and following their recommendations in conjunction with Reiki or Pranic Healing sessions.

What to Expect from a Reiki Session

Reiki Sessions are by appointment, I work out of my home in Brooklyn Center, MN.

When you come for the first time I will have a questionaire for you to fill out, you will also be given time to ask any questions about the session before we begin. This way we can both make sure that your needs are being met. Your physical and energy bodies comprise a whole system. What affects one area affects the entire system. For this reason I always begin with a full-body session and then address any specific area of concern.

During the session, you will lay on the massage table and I remain quiet while I act as a channel for the Reiki energy to flow through. If you need to talk with me while we progress, that's fine too, the Reiki will continue to flow. Your body will continue to draw the Reiki it needs from my hands. To create a relaxing environmnet, I usually have soft music playing, with incense and candles burning as well. But that's your choice.

I do not direct the energy in any way other than the intention that it flow freely to benefit your health in mind, body, and spirit. Reiki always works toward your highest good. You will be asked to lay on your stomach to finish the session.

When we are done I will gently move my hands about 3-6 inches above your body to allow the Reiki to flow to any areas that it needs to. After the session I will offer you a glass of water, as staying hydrated is an important part of healing.

Reiki & Pranic Healing Services in Detail

Petite Reiki Session

This thirty minute session begins with a brief aura clearing as you lay on your back on the Reiki table. Pillows and bolsters are available for your comfort. Once the aura clearing is done, I begin by gently laying hands on your head, and work my way down your torso. The session procedes as described in above under What to Expect from Your Reiki Session. When we are done with your front, you turn over and I finish the session working on your back.

A Petite session is great when your pressed for time or as an introduction to Reiki and energy healing.

Aura Clearing

During a forty-five minute aura clearing I use Pranic Healing I techniques which includes sweeping the aura, scanning for imbalances, and charging the aura with Reiki energy. With the hectic pace of life today, an aura clearing is a kind of tune-up of your chakra's to keep your energy system working at it's peak performance.

It is also a Touch Free type of healing, as I work with your outer aura. This energy work is done at a distance while you are in a standing, seated, or laying on the Reiki table, whichever is more comfortable for you.

Full Session

This sixty minute session begins with a brief aura clearing as you lay on the Reiki table. Pillows and bolsters are available for your comfort. Once the aura clearing is done, I begin by gently laying hands on your head, and work my way down your torso.

The full reiki session allows more time for relaxation, as well as more time receiving reiki to release and rejuvinate. More details are under What to Expect from Your Reiki Session

Grande Session

The Grande Session is a wonderful full body aura and chakra tune-up using Usui Reiki, Advanced Reiki, and Pranic Healing Techniques that will leave you relaxed, refreshed, and and rejuvinated. Clients of mine who have received this type of session were healing from surgery, going through a divorce, and making major career changes.

This seventy five minute session begins with an in-depth aura clearing using all my Pranic Healing I techniques including straightening of your Health Rays, and Chakra cleansing and balancing. Once the aura clearing is done, I begin by gently laying hands on your head, and work my way down your torso as detailed in What to Expect from Your Reiki Session.

Specific areas of healing may be also addressed with the Advanced Reiki technique of Psychic surgery, where we visualize the situation and remove any unwanted energies directly. This is a collaboration between you the client, and me as your Reiki Master Practitioner.
