The Power of Intention

I had meant to do this long before, but for some reason it didn’t happen. It’s been a month since I received my attunement to Reiki 1, and my attitude took a dive over the past several days. Last night I meditated before bed, and gave myself a good Pranic Sweeping and some Reiki as well. I’d missed a few nights of meditation and I could definitely tell the difference! So now I’ve finally laminated some Good Thoughts to carry around with me everywhere, for when I need a reminder about life.

The Five Precepts from Mikao Usui

Just for today, do not worry.
Just for today, do not anger.
Honor your parents, teachers and elders.
Earn your living honestly.
Show gratitude to every living thing.

An Ancient Hasidic Saying

When you walk across the fields with your mind pure and holy, then from all the stones, and all growing things, and all animals, the sparks of their soul come out and cling to you, and then they are purified and become a holy fire in you.

Now I will be carrying these three little homemade cards of wisdom and intention with me in my purse. Whenever I need a little reminder I can pull them out, hold them in my Reiki hands and put my thoughts toward co-creating my life with the Goddess, God, Great Spirit and my Guardians and Guides.

  1. what a great idea. I am certain you will begin to feel a difference…I see I have some catching up to do. I will come back after I’ve adjusted to my newest energy surge! thanks for stopping by my blog and sharing your thoughts!

  2. This is something that I can actively do every day to remind myself of my path. I can’t take credit for it, though. Dr. Wayne Dyer recommended it in The Power of Intention, hence the title.
