In a few moments I will be putting up my cool new calendar on the wall, but I just had to sit down and share this bit of wisdom I learned from a friend last night. You see, Lovedog (that’s the name of my friend) has The Answers to life’s most difficult questions. The answers are a puppy, a kitten, and a mirror, and I’ll tell you about them the way he told me.
Sitting above the bath house dressed in his guru robes sits Lovedog. A seeker came to him and asked him”Lovedog, how can I find love?” The wise and benevolent Lovedog reached behind him and handed him a puppy. Another seeker came to him and asked him,”Lovedog, how can I find my independence?” and Lovedog reached back and handed him a kitten (works for the love question too). And finally a seeker came and asked him “Lovedog, how can I find myself?” and Lovedog reached back and brought out a mirror.
So, as you can clearly see, the answers to lifes most persistent questions can be answered by a puppy, a kitten, and a mirror. I wish you a loving, independent, and self-realized path in 2009. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
